With all this talk about multi clienting, I figured I wanted to ask for some clarification on TCing. It was brought up in the multi client discussion. Some people say it’s fine, others agree that it should fall under bug abuse or glitch abuse. I’m curious as to how TCing isn’t considered glitch/bug abuse. Your mage ult is programmed to make you stationary for 4 seconds, yet people take advantage of the frames and mechanical keyboards and use it to teleport around. How is that not glitch/bug abuse? “Madori’s coming after tcers now” lmfao Someone accidentally stumbled across it a couple of years ago and ever since its been the norm. I really wished it got nipped in the ass back then, because now it’s impossible to make any changes to it. (They tried fixing it, but fixing it caused more problems so they just left it in) https://royals.ms/forum/threads/telecasting-a-technique-or-just-a-title.122433/ Spoiler bye venin lmfao
Telecasting is the result of the changes to the client that allow you to loot fast and use skills from other classes in combination with jumping as well. I remember back in one of the updates there was a "fix" for telecasting but it made everything else in the server slower, especially looting, so people complained and the change was reversed. Because of this, I'm able to use arrow eruption on my sniper or any other skill that normally locks you in place for a second while jumping at the same time. I'm not personally into the whole telecast thing, it gives people such high expectations of arch mages when leeching and makes a lot of people quite picky. I'd honestly highly support a change that gets rid of that mechanic, but still allow fast looting. But I believe they're all connected with the current client, so there's no easy fix at the moment and counting this as bug abuse won't do anything to help the situation.
Lol how nostalgic, that one update where the only way to loot stuff was with pets. Lets not do that again please
