After a long break with Maple, i think its good to remake my char and try the long and sad life with F/P IGN:Ironmist
I've been thinking about getting back into Royals but am always worried that just like the last 2 times, the overpowered leeching part of the game is going to get bored after some time again. The Ironman challenge seems like a fun way to really get the spirit of oldschool maplestory back, I'll be thinking about it for sure.
I used gisers for most of the fight, but after finishing 3 gisers i noticed that there's not much left from the boss (25%~hp) so I just used warrior for the last bit. And the gisers are from the wish ticket event, I haven't killed a manon since the day i got the full set of him
IGN: aioof Been wanting to play an odd job for a while now so thought I'd do it within the Ironman challenge. Going to go for the hp dit and will be testing the waters to see if I could actually achieve lvl 70 with 25 base dex by myself lol (appreciate any ideas if you have any xD).
So I've made it to 20 and think I'll be giving myself a bit of a handicap. Anything above a ribbon pig is giving me some trouble with mob density and pot consumption causing me to not be self sustaining when it comes to mesos and buying pots. As it is looking right now if I want to complete higher level quests I'd have to farm red snail shells as it does both more dmg for way less mp cost (Which is too similar to an islander play style which I don't want to do for this character) or just grind on lower level mobs to 70. I decided I ultimately want to attempt at leveling through quests rather than farming the fun nostalgic maps to 70 so I'm going to pump 50 luk and see what I can do with that.
Suggestion: Rush to lvl 30, Easter is around, and it might be able to help you lvl with the golden richie event, killing the golden pigs might prove to be difficult though... Out of interest, even when you eventually hit lvl 70, how would you farm mesos? you will still need a bit of damage so you could consistently kill leps, won't you?
After 3rd job I still want to quest for fun but am hoping pick pocket works well enough with my dmg to just meso explode that way.
IGN: Clobbahtime Can't wait to lvl up at my own pace without being overwhelmed by the speed of others
Hello! I played an Ironman HP warrior some time ago (I recall playing being really inspired by the OGs who started this movement, like @DIYChalak & @Samadhi ) and have been inactive for about 3-4 years haha. I see myself being more active on this game now in these times but am no longer in the guild since the new source update - could I ask to be added back in if there's space in the guild? Also, I'm thinking of starting another Ironman character which I believe would be relatively more relaxing to play haha - I'm thinking of playing an I/L mage for the mobbing capabilities as I work towards Quest Specialist! Apart from not really being a bossing character (though I've watched @LichWiz's mad I/L Zak solo haha), what other challenges might I face as an Ironman I/L? Thanks!
