General Adding Sacking as an Offense under the T&C

I mean, much like trash talking and other kinds of situations where context matters, sacking would be something you do with your acquaintances and closer friends.

And even so it's highly tempting to kill those low lvl noobs that sits afking all day in town. You have a sack and you just think about it... Why not? But now that my friend got banned (and then unbanned), I don't think I can resist the urge to sack anyone until their use is clarified in the TnC to prevent any misunderstanding and a similar incident from happening again.

 

In my opinion, most cases of using sacks should be unbannable due to its original design, while I agree certain situations could be exceptions (e.g. Kill the buyer/seller in leeching service) but not so serious that it should be sentenced to a ban... Maybe just warning (2 warnings=temporary ban for example)

and golden monks is not a very popular map, and even if it is, its clear that this map has no real "safe" space. there's no platform safe there from magic attacks of the monks.

 

Remove all sacks, although sack is only useful in LV 200 party.
Bring players better reward from gacha, event.

 

My favorite part about this is that they took 2 days to discuss a 3 day ban. Dude had already served 66% of his ban duration by the time Staff agreed to a "consensus" regarding this appeal. Yet there is the official pronunciation from Matt from this response, I don't think it should take too long to make clarification and update the ToS accordingly to account for the legal/illegal uses of sacking. Should the sackers continue to sacking "normally" if it keeps legal, or should tell them to discard their sacks because it could be deemed as an bannable offense? There is yet an answer to receive regarding the future of sacking.

 

Since the banned player was initially hammered down based on the ground of "harrassment", to be on the safe side, keep your sacking urge among friends that won't report you. So, no report filed, no enforcement to be carried out.

Kind of like a certain online game out there I've played, ToS clearly states that 3rd party game add-on (DPS meter) is a bannable offense, but as long it's not used for harassing players or toxic behavior, GMs largely kept their one eye closed and let it be.

I just want to put my opinion here and say that I find it extremely stupid for this to even be a discussion. It's part of the game and you being triggered by the smallest thing and making such a deal of this is simply nuts. What I find even crazier is that for you to write this post I'm assuming you got sacked once or twice and JUST BECAUSE OF THAT you are here trying to ban people who sack for fun and memes.

Dude just buy the damn exp charms, that's what they are for. Low cost for people to not mess with you. They are cheaper than the sack.

 

lol you clearly did not read anything in this thread buddy. OP was banned for sacking someone that was on a rope in the middle of his petri map. This thread was made by him to seek clarification over the rules. (he was unbanned later)

Moving this to accepted. There is now a provision in the T&C for sacking, under objectionable behavior.
