Small announcment: I'm starting yet another project! (*muffled cries from shane and dylan in the background: "dont do it!~") Lately i felt like all my hundreds of thousands of NX i saved up from voting didn't really segnificantly changed my characters or their gameplay after the many gacha runs i did with them. I either get a chance at upgrading my gear (which usually fails), or jack squat. Which is kinda demoralizing. As a rule to myself, whenever i feel gachaing on one chara gets stale, i swap to voting on another one. But i reached a point where all of them feel stale... now what? We'll I'll tell you now what! I'm gonna funnel all my voting for probably more than half a year to this new bad boi My new Ironman Shadower, Ironblade: It baffles me how nobody took that ign before, I checked that ign as i was getting bored of brainstorming character looks and ideas, and BAM! So yea, I plan on going a bit extreme with the washing on this chara. Because this shad is gonna be built to challenge ALL THE BOSSES! Jam1n inspired me when he managed to actually beat shaolin and scarlion, and he even got to the body in HT! These are bosses i never got to beat as my bucc, so giving them a go on a shad will be interesting :3 As a side note, this chara will be on standby, it is now lvl 32, and will remain around that lvl to collect event items and nx on him before he starts. So I'll probably go radio silent on him for the next few months

I love restricted characters being one of the top islander on the server so I figure why not. I have always wanted to do this so I am going to casually join in on my newly created character "Number26." An homage to the element number 26 being Iron! Probably take it really slow and save up some nx so I can gach on it down the line and get it geared up. I think I am going to go the Night Lord route now that some more HP options are available. Hit 70 today on my fifth day of Ironman-ing! I had a good bit of time these last few days and essentially did the grind almost solely on questing other than a few short grind sessions to get a better dagger! Level 70 on the 420th completed quest?? Coincidence.. I think not...
Well only been a little over a week since my last post, but hit 4th job today. Meso explosion really carried me, but given I have the range of a low 80 some bandit I can't really kill high level mobs with any effectiveness due to hp washing. Got a ways to go, but it's a grind I am enjoying doing. Also currently like 600/800 on quest specialist lol so been keeping busy! Mp washing currently, but only mp washing the AP as I get the APRs on the daily. So plenty to go ha!
Hey all! Sharing my progress so far on an ironman shadower I started: IronBandit I started the character about a week ago in time for the recent thanksgiving and christmas events, and so far have gotten pretty lucky with the turnins. After lots of frustration from getting slow turkey and versalmas pig spawns, I finally got the coveted pilgrim hat and the shiny rudolph nose! He doesn't have an attack glove yet but I must say the slow grind makes every little bit of progression feel that much more fulfilling. I think my next goal is to finish up some quests to get GFA60 scrolls and also get the fur ball cape from the Christmas event to scroll with 60%s. Thanks for introducing this game mode to us!
Would it be frowned upon to buy the last pilgrim hat piece? i have 17 turn ins and i can probably get another 4-5, but if i dont get the piece im going to be pretty bummed. I could really use the hat and it would probably be my endgame hat. Or do i have to wait another year to get lucky with turn ins?
I'm 26 turn ins still no complete set with like 7 duplicates. It's rough but keep on trying while you can!
Unfortunately there's no exceptions for pilgrim hats or other events that require farming or luck to obtain certain items. Just gonna have to stick it out.
Well soloed krex today. Considering my range is a pathetic 1.6k I solely used meso explosion and holy cow an adventure that was. First 30 minutes was trying to figure out the most optimal position to drop meso. Ended up literally taping my mouse to the desk so I could click on it while using the "5" mouse keys trick while also holding ctrl+v. Let's just say my hands are dead after doing this for so long. None the less krex ring achieved 3/2/2/2 so barely above average... I'll take it. Cool things learned from the fight. 112m was consumed with 5k bags. (thankfully not much more as I only came in with a hard earned 120m) That means in the 2.5 hours I was in there I dropped 22.4k individual bags and at 2 clicks per bag that means I spammed over probably 45k times in that 2.5 hours. I WILL NOT be doing that again any time soon or at least until I can output some decent damage to also shorten it up, but I got what I came here for... LOL
Making an update post for my bucc. Last time, I updated you guys on making my knuckler into a 104 att 2 slot weapon. Well: Again, with an UNBELIEVEALBE AMOUNT OF LUCK I've passed it on the 4th scroll after failing 3 times After that happened, I got myself a huge boost to my excitment for my bucc, because this finally drew me closer to soloing shaolin, the only boss that i was still realistically able to solo. So I started grinding BFs like CRAZY, and also made this nice item: All the stars aligned to do a shaolin run again But boi did I fail... Failed again and again, until i decided to also reset excess dex into str, and to also remember i have an eye mask from toad i can wear for 1 extra str LUL Anyways, this was the run after i resetted my stats: MY FIRST EVER SHAOLIN SOLO DONE!!! Killing it with my range is too close for comfort, you can't relax for a second, and you gotta plan when you buff and hope for the RNG in your damage to help you out. After winning this fight, I failed like 3 more times because of how finicky and up for RNG this run can be. Btw, for those who are wondering why im doing demo only: I've tested both barrage+demo and demo only on this boss, and came to realize that doing demo only tends to pin the boss in a way that prevents him from doing his big jump. That jump causes me to lose out on damage because he's not in range for barrage, and for half of the animation it isn't in range for demo either. So in the end, both demo and barrage+demo dealt about the same amount of damage, but barrage+demo was far more dependant on RNG going in my favor, which is why i decided to do demo only for shao. Yesterday, I've done another batch of gachaing in NLC, and my god, i was BLASTED with white scrolls (4 to be exact), I think @Joong might murder me in my sleep tonight (dw man I'm sure you'll get WS soonTM ;~; ) After farming 10% scrolls today, I went to fm to give them a go, not expecting much to happen tbh, but then: HECK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! 4 fails 1 pass!!! I seriously was never this lucky in my entire lifetime, this weapon is probably the sickest weapon in ironman as of writing this post I want to thank RNGesus, and to all the ironmen that kept me motivated to this day, i feel like i beated ironman today P.S. i should probably update my range thread post lul

YAY! Another update post! This time, on my perma beginner Gotta say, that going in, I didn't expect to like it as much as I do now. Most of my guildies know it, but I'm a pretty big fan of questing (I did quest specialist 3 times on ironman already, even tho I honestly didn't need the medal), but due to how many quests there are in the game at this point, and how easy some of these quests are, quest specialist is no longer a "challenge" to me. Then comes beginner, that made all the quests in the game ACTUALLY difficult! Having no access to HP, mutli target skills, decent and stable damage, and natural accuracy, makes each quest feel like a mini bossfight in a sense. Last time I was updating you guys, was around the time i reached lvl 30. A lot has happened since then: I've basically grinded quests 100% of the time, I even went out of the way to do tough quests i have no right to be able to beat as a beginner For example, I did the quest Mariwaka of Performer Training, which is a quest that can only be started at lvl 40 EXACTLY. That questline also has a followup quest that you cannot start if you are not at lvl 40, so to do both quests, you must AT LEAST beat the first quest at exactly lvl 40. Easier said than done when the mobs in question are leader A, and leader B, which are lvl 62 and 64 respectively. To beat them, I had to farm maple pops ahead of lvl 40 (can't farm at lvl 40 or i might risk overlvling). So my lvl 37~40 looked something like this: Just for one quest count for the quest specialist. I'm a very tanatious person when it comes to questing I also did crazy long quests like the mateon tentacle questline, the cursed doll questline (4/5 quests, im still farming the last 1k etcs...), and the entire bonehelm quest. And for maya's stupid questline I even went as far as swimming to the painus map to get kills on Flyeyes, which required swimming to that map through lvl 90+ mobs and not getting hit once. While grinding quests early game, i also voted a bit, and got out a few gacha runs, thankfully, the mop wasn't too shy, and showed itself on the second gacha 35 tix run: Spoiler: Maroon 5 mops [I wish] With the leftover tickets i also managed to get mouse kit from CBD gacha (10 acc), which really helped me out. In the recent events I managed to get a lot of key items for my beginner that will probably carry me to the endgame: Pilrgim hat, zombie and pie rings, shiny nose, and fur lump cape. Each of them giving me some key stats like hp and accuracy And that brings us to today: Beginners might not have job advances, but lvl 70 is as close as we can get to the feeling of a job advance. In level 70 beginners get both access to mounts, and access to the HP quest. So the first thing i did was rushing to get myself a hog :3 Spoiler: I got a new friend for my jounrey! And of course, the crazyhead that I am, I was already prepared with all the materials for the hp quest: My boi is THICC now! And, as a final note, my initial goal with the beginner was to finish quest specialist, here's where i stand as of right now: The last stretch is the hardest, but I'm sure i can do it!
