95/900 should be good here is a rough breakdown of # quests you could finish in future when you level up 31 from ellin (100+) 8 from shao/lushan town (120+/100+) 17 from another custom questline (The Stones of Reality) (100+) 20+ from 4th job + skill prequests, hero's will prequest, silver mane (120+) 2 from leafre (100+) 10+ from TOT, finish until Road of Regrets part ---- 88+ also make sure you saved Yulete in RJPQ once and entered the secret lab so you're not missing some hidden quests in Magatia if these aren't enough, a few NT, LHC quests should push you over 1000 but need higher level (135+ ?)
is it possible that the twinkle twinkle song book from elizas ethernal sleep quest gets stuck in inventory or did i do something wrong?
I recently started a new character and tried to do the drop quests for "The Welcoming Ritual". However, upon dropping the items , there was no prompt to start a new quest. I simply dropped the items, then talked to the NPCs again and clicked on the "In progress" quest dialog option and they gave me a new item, all this without actually starting a new quest. Can anyone confirm that these drop quests still count towards the total? (don't have the medal quest from dalair yet as I am under lvl 30)
Levels 20-29: Polluted Evil Eyes (I) actually requires level 25 to appear in available quests, not lvl 21
Paving the way can be counted twice! Seems like the repeated version of the quest is a separate quest.
New missable quests: the prequests for Balrog PQ. Lvl 75-99 only. Manji and Balrog Level 75-99 7-part quest! Last part is the Balrog PQ itself, but even washing characters can easily do parts 1-6. The BPQ area with the two new NPCs Mu Young and Suspicious Guy is in Sleepywood Dungeon, in a new door below the one that leads to the sanctuary/Jr. Balrog. 1. Talk to Manji in Perion. He asks you to talk to Mu Young who is in a map deep in Sleepywood Dungeon, and offers to warp you there. (It's recommended to buy a Perion scroll* and at least one normal TP rock first.) If you turn him down the first time, forfeit the quest for him to offer the warp again. *you may want to buy two if you don't normally carry town scrolls as the questline ends in Sleepywood, to avoid having to walk later. *Note that the bottom left portal at Bottom of the Temple is a free warp back to Perion, but I don't know if you need to do the questline to unlock it... 2. After talking to Mu Young, go one map above (up the stairs) and talk to Suspicious Guy. You can cc/cash shop/lounge in the map above to move up the stairs quickly. Recommended to go one more map above to Another Entrance and save that map on your TP rock. 3. Go back down and talk to Mu Young. 4. Talk to Manji (use your Perion scroll). He mentions a note hidden in "Tunnel that Lost Light" 5. TP/scroll and door to Another Entrance, go left one map (Tunnel that Lost Light II) and talk to the note NPC in the bottom left corner of the map. 6. Make sure you have your pet out and gear/potions ready and talk to Mu Young. You will be teleported to a map that spawns a nerfed Jr. Balrog (does only about 200 damage). Kill it and wait in the map for an NPC to spawn, and talk to him. 7. Finish a Balrog PQ and go to the top left portal in Bottom of The Temple (Tristan's Resting Place) and talk to him. Highly recommended for anybody even if you don't intend on BPQing on that character and can only do the first six parts, since it also gives a decent amount of exp on top of the quest count.
Apparently, there are 2 quests in the magatia questline that must be completed at level 85: https://global.hidden-street.net/quest/mu-lung-nihal-desert/alcadno-and-the-ostracized-research https://global.hidden-street.net/quest/mu-lung-nihal-desert/zenumist-and-the-ostracized-research Basically, the quest only appears at level 85 and must be accepted at level 85. I'm making a new char and plan to do some testing for this medal (like trying to drop other quest items to see if there are more drop quests). So when I get to lvl 85 I'll try to remember to check this out.
You are looking at the guide for modern MS, you need to go to https://bbb.hidden-street.net/quest/mu-lung-nihal-desert/alcadno-and-the-ostracized-research where the quest is listed as lvl 70+. I had no problems finishing this quest earlier (I usually just do all the mpq quests before 75) but could only do only one of them, not both.
@nomade @Green Mind Thank you both, I just came across this thread in another forum talking about these quests. When I looked in my completed tab in my quest journal, I didn't see them (did all magatia/mu lung quests) so I assumed I missed it. But maybe it was just titled differently, or maybe I skipped over it in my journal. Anyways, thanks for clearing this up!
I'm a Lv137 FP and with 975 quests completed now. I missed almost all drop quests and level restricted quests because I didn't find this guide until I completed most of the quests. As of now I have LHC questline just started (up to Ani boss), and NeoTokyo questline up to vergo boss. Technically if I complete all these prequests completed it can grant me about 20 quests count. Almost all other quests are clear (including all jump quests and ToT quests) except party quests related quests (I guess about 4-5 quests remaining). Also I haven't acquired 40 etc for Hero Will questline so there are about 4 quests remaining. Oh I didn't hunt for 1000 drums yet. Therefore, I counted the possible achievable quests and seems it can barely achieve 1000. I don't know if that's a common situation if I missed all drop quests and level restricted quests. As such, for other mages who also want to obtain the virtuoso medal, if you are similar to my case that you didn't do the drop quests and level restricted quests, and if you don't have an active guild that can help you pass the bosses (e.g. LHC/NeoTokyo prequests), it would be really really hard to achieve 1000 quests. UPDATE Got the medal today, after asking many helps from my guildmates to do LHC and NT bossing quests, as well as two Krex quests. I also hunted for 1000 drums on my own (57th floor - took 3 hours something) and did the long road Zakum alternative quest (took about 7 hours and got 10 quest counts). This proves that even if you miss all missable and drop quests, and if you are a mage, you can still get this virtuoso medal. Thanks this guide and thanks everyone who helped me especially guildmates in kekw guild. (don't know why it keeps saying error when uploading photo, anyway)
I think this: LVL23 The Monster and the Evil Scheme: Drop the crumpled piece of paper JM gives you to initiate "Find the crumpled piece of paper again" should be this: LVL23 The Monster and the Evil Scheme: Drop the crumpled piece of paper you get from the trashcan in the hut in Dangerous Croco 1 to initiate "Find the Crumpled Piece of Paper Again" because JM doesn't give you the paper you get it from the hut. recnently just did this on my character. Didn't think to take ss because it's just part of the quest
Yeah JM does give you the paper, but he doesn't give it to you directly. He puts it in the basket in the hut, which iswhere you receive it so a bit confusing, yeah
In Lvl 70, pheremone perfume It will cost another 20mil to acquire the new perfume bottle from Chief Tatamo, costing a total of 40mil. This might be little to some but a lot to others.
Yes. I have virtuoso medal and I think I still have approximately 20 or so quests unfinished (and I believe there will be even more than this, considering I havent started any of the LHC or Neotokyo quests). You will likely be able to get the Virtuoso medal and still have several/many quests left unfinished. That said, the higher level quests become extremely difficult compared to the lower level quests. 1 lower level quest may take a few minutes or even an hour, whereas 1 higher level quest may take several hours or perhaps even days. So I definitely recommend to do all the "extra" (drop/hidden) quests possible!
