I like various computer games in general from my teenage years. In their case my favourite ones are Half Life 2, GTA, Hitman and Sims series, Thief, BloodRayne and Chaser https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaser_(video_game) . Of course I played in more of them but these ones I still adore even through many years I like mmorg online ones too, especially World of Warcraft, Cabal, Shaiya and Aion too but I don't play in them too often because considering the pace of upgrading your heroes (it's usually rather slow) I'm become bored of them really fast and I'm not interested in donating too mush money for their faster progress. And I like gambling too, especially various online casinos, card games (poker and blackjack the most of all) and sport bettings https://777score.co.uk/. I have a special budget for such games and for me getting fun is more important than winning money, besides this happens so rare... lol
6 is easily the best Final Fantasy they've ever made. My top favs in no particular order... Paper Mario Fire Emblem (Especially the ones on GBA) A Link to the Past Final Fantasy 6 MegaMan X Pikmin Dark Cloud Jak and Daxter Fable Stardew Valley Dishonored Elder Scrolls Oblivion And then there's a whole slew of stuff like Mario 64/Super Mario, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Windwaker, Luigi's mansion. Final Fantasy 10 and 4 also. I tend to find games I like and I cycle through them- I've probably beaten every game I just listed 5-6 times at least. I have no life.
Idk where to start... I'm probably gonna miss a few, but here it goes: World of Warcraft Overwatch Heroes of the Storm (before it got roasted) Dota 2 League for like 2 months Skyrim Left 4 Dead 2 Jak and Daxter (Jak2 his dark form's hot af lmao) Ratchet and Clank Dynasty warriors (all of them) Samurai warriors (same deal) Final Fantasy (all of 'em) Devil May Cry (yup, you guessed it) Soul Caliber Genji Dawn of the Samurai (countless others I don't remember zzz) Shadow of the Colossus ISO Star Ocean Oblivion Spyro RDR2 Legend of Zelda Cattails Okami! Undertale Deltarune Arena of Valor Outlast PT's Demo (rip) (shameless Horror games for ps4 plug. All of 'em.) Pokemon (B/W and X/Y are my top two) My mind's drawing a blank for the rest, but I guess you get the gist of it lol OMG OLDSCHOOL: DX Ball Pinball MS Paint Age of Mythologies CIV
FFV - FFX KH 1, 2 and 3 Cod MW2 and BO2 Skate 2 and 3 Paper Mario (N64 and NGC) Megaman 2 and 10 Pokemon Colluseum (also Gen 1 - 4)
would recommend overcooked/overcooked 2 for couples its pretty funny and round of applause if yall dont end up yelling at each other lol
Lots of Nostalgia in this thread, i'm starting to feel old. My favorite games, in no particular order: Advanced Wars: Basically Fire Emblem with disposable units. I've played all but Days of Ruin due to the change in characters. Animal Crossing: I was a huge fan of the Gamecube, and 3DS version, but not a huge fan of the Switch version. Even with all the hype and good reviews on the switch version, it just doesn't feel the same anymore to me. Fire Emblem: I mainly played Fire Emblem on the handheld consoles, but I did get around halfway through the Wii version. I'd say my biggest achievement was when I beat Lunatic+ on Awakening. Pokemon: Pokemon will always be a huge part of my childhood life. From Pokemon Red/Blue all the way to Pokemon Sw/Sh, I played all except for Black/White, Sun/Moon, and Sw/sh. Honorary Mentions: CS:GO - I probably have around 1k hours spread out across 3 accounts. Best part about the game is the market, if you know what you're doing. Peaked MG2 post rank nerf. Overwatch - Just like CS:GO, I probably have around 1k hours spread out across multiple accounts. Good and bad memories from this game. Best memories was definitely from Release day - Mid 2018 (Basically when goats meta started) Bad Memories were from Mid 2018 to present day. Peaked Masters in season 5, and recently hit my career high in season 21.
Diablo 2: I've played this game since the expansion was released in 2001. The art style, the setting, the character classes, the combat, I love basically everything about this game. I hardly did any of the online ladders on Battle.net, so that might be part of why I love the single player style, even in maple. My playtime has been on and off over the years, but playing through this game will never get old to me and has always drawn me back. Souls series: I started these back in 2014 when DaS1 was made a free download for xbox 360, and ever since then I've put in maybe 2000 hours of gameplay, nearly 1200 of them on DaS3. My favorite builds are high faith + strength builds with heavy weapons and miracles, though I've found plenty of success with others in DaS3. This one is going to sound weird, but I really enjoy World of Tanks. I play the console version, and yes it is different from the PC version. Having played it for over 1000 hours as well, since 2014, funny enough. Golden Sun 1 and 2: IMO these are the best JRPGs out there. Great music, combat, and a decent story make this one a joy to play when I get the chance. My last one is The Binding of Isaac. I have yet to try out many other roguelikes but this was a fun one to keep replaying. The item combinations, enemy variation, and dungeon layout in each run being unique with each seed really keeps the gameplay fresh.
Starcraft 1 is probably like my favorite all time favorite game of all time. I spent EXTREME AMOUNT OF time when I was a kid and I was actually really good. my computer never able to run starcraft 2 back then so i never played starcraft 2. My apm back in the day was like 185~220 ? I played zerg so there was a lot of microing and macroing haha. I currently play a lot of Animal Crossing on my switch just to kill time.
Single Player Games: Assassins Creed Dragon Age Series Mass Effect Trilogy Skyrim Simulations like The Sims Series Pixel horror games like Mermaid Swamp and Mogeko Castle. Sometimes I play Old School Runescape, but I only have one character and she's new. I also like to try out different indie games whenever I come across them.
Sekiro is my favorite game right now, hard as fuck but so rewarding when you kick ass. I also have been playing Metro: Exodus and alot of The Division 2. Both are post apocalyptic games but fun as hell.
There are so many games which I love, but the one that I love the most, without a shadow of a doubt... Hollow Knight <3 I have many games which are definitly on my top 10: Outer wilds Dark souls 1 Hyper light drifter Nier: automata Portal 2 Terraria Skyrim Stardew valley And probably many others that escape me atm. But man, even after naming all these amazing games, Hollow knight still have a special place in my heart.
